A familiar little face
While you work, browse, or wind down, a little version of your pet can keep you company.
The maker
I make Pawsies: small, personal pet experiences inspired by the cats and dogs people love. The idea is simple—give a familiar face a little place in your day, even when you are away from home.
Pawsies turns pet photos into AI-generated pixel art and animated companions. Your pet’s colors and markings guide the result; it is a playful interpretation, not an exact portrait. I also write the guides here to help you understand the apps and get comfortable with your companion.

For your desktop
Your custom cat or dog walks, naps, and plays along the bottom of your screen, beside the apps you already use. Choose toys, arrange a bed, and pause or hide the scene whenever you like.
$129 USD, one time. One custom pet and its Mac license. Apple silicon · macOS 14 or later. Initial setup needs internet; a downloaded companion can run offline.
Create my Mac pet →For your pocket
A separate virtual pet game with rooms, care activities, and widgets. Start with the included example pet and room, then choose whether to personalize your own.
Free to download. Personalization uses optional in-app purchases. A Mac license does not unlock iPhone purchases, and progress does not sync between the apps.
